I think the truth is somewhere in the middle.It’s cool to show off the NFL players but most high school kids have no idea who any of those guys are. The common person doesn’t know any players outside of their favorite team except for Beckham, Adrian Petersen, the QB’s, Ezekiel Elliot, etc.
Still, it’s a good selling point.
Most high school kids or most high school recruits? Because that's absolutely not true for the latter. Any blue chip DB we're recruiting is going to know every name on that list, even a part time starter like Murphy.[/b] The NFL pipeline is a massive recruiting tool.
Agree the pipeline is very important.
They know of them when the coaches tell them to look them up. Some kids know them, but I would bet very few.
