The Biden administration said Tuesday it will likely appeal a federal judge’s ruling that struck down Covid-19 mask mandates on planes and other forms of public transportation.

“The Department of Justice and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) disagree with the district court’s decision and will appeal,” the DOJ said in a statement, “subject to CDC’s conclusion that the order remains necessary for public health.”

“If CDC concludes that a mandatory order remains necessary for the public’s health after that assessment, the Department of Justice will appeal the district court’s decision,” the DOJ said.

A couple of weeks ago I was on four 4 hour flights. All planes were full. Everyone in a mask, except when eating or drinking. They only reason I'm not dead is because of the mask. It saved me. I have no doubt about this. Now the entire time I wasn't on a plane or in an airport I was maskless. Every, single, minute. Restaurants, hotels, malls, shuttle buses, cars, Buc-ee's, a packed auditorium, everywhere.

But the only reason I'm able to type this today is because I wore a mask on the plane. Otherwise, I'm a goner by now.

Agreed. My disdain has always been towards the useful idiots like @hhusky for being stupid enough to follow the obviously fucking stupid guidelines and pretending they were following science. At least Fauci made some money off of all of this. That at least makes sense.
