Why isn't Arizona State a good program? The biggest sleeping giants in college football

Maryland is the Oregon of the East. Christ.

Not really sure why Okie State gets honorable mention. They go to New Years Day bowls basically every odd-numbered year. Shit, they won the Fiesta Bowl and finished #3 in 2011. Pretty heady stuff for a backwater program with basically one whale benefactor. I wish UW had a 5-year record like that.

located in beautiful Phoenix

one, phx isnt beautiful, its a fucking desert and 9 months out of the year its hot as balls
two, asu is located in tempe
three, why is anyone from cleveland writing an article about football powerhouses? gtfo

They are the only Pac-12 school that gets SEC caliber help in the polls. They are Top 25 to start damn near every season, but rarely ever finish in it.

They haven't beaten Oregon since 2004, so they are basically UW, which is a school that isn't serious about football in a big city.

BYU and Utah are the sleeping giants. Mormons are spreading like rabbits and all the good Mormon football players are going to be headed to the state of Utah to play football.
