He hit me up about whether I wanted to help him on Wayne Morse's Senate 1974 campaign (he lost his Senate seat in 1968 to Bob Packwood and wanted it back). I'd run into Morse at various events and I told Wyden that since 1972, Morse was a shell of his former self. Wyden told me that he saw Morse every day and he was the sharpest person he knew. Morse died that summer in July. Wyden knew that Morse was sick but was happy to lie to me about it. Phucker has been a lifetime government tit sucker since 1980 when he got elected to Congress. Still is a rocket scientist compared to Oregon's Merkley and Washington's Murray, but they all lie like a rug and hate this country.
