For the life of me I do not understand this. I taught all three of my boys to read well before they were in Kindergarten and trust me, none of my kids are geniuses. I used the same method that was used on me. Phonics. Every meal at the dinner table I used the plastic letters that were attached to the Fridge to have them sound out letter combination. Go through all the OY, AT, AD combination words and so on. They all read at or above grade level their entire time in school. Why would you stop using something that works? I had teachers and parents asking me how I was able to get my three (black) they never actually said that part but I knew what they meant, able to read so well.

Well, we read and understood the Mueller Report and also the Great Barrington Declaration. We also know that phonics is the best way to teach kids to read. That printing money causes inflation. That the border is not closed. The list is endless of things the left doesn't know and reading without comprehension really isn't ready.
