We can now add Florida State to the Curt Cignanetti sweepstakes that includes Florida, Clemson, Penn State, maybe Texas plus whoever may move on from their schools.
His next deal of 6 years will be for 2-3 times more than he made his first 35 years of coaching combined

Sark’s playoff appearance gets him another year before the heat is really turned up. I think there is a good chance they move on from Arch.

Arch has no touch, he’ll be lucky to have a Heaner nfl career. Kiffin might try to salvage him at Ole’Miss

Curt Cignetti and his staff should be the highest paid in the country. It's amazing what they've done with Indiana so far.

No shit and they don’t have daddy war bucks war chest.
Actually they do now. Cigarette Man convinced Mark Cuban that football is fun and a worthy cause. He’s been a donor to the academis side of Indiana for a long time, now he’s opened his check book to their athletics.

Just from reading tea leaves I do not see Cigarette leaving Bloomington until he retires, unless of course he's fired down the line. He and his wife love living there and he doesn't strike me as someone who would want to start all over again at his age when he's already got a great thing going.

Oh wow, I forgot about that and excellent point.
Still, many of their transfers came from JMU and lower-tier schools (such as their LB who balled out yesterday) so I don't think massive bags of Cuban cash went to them. Maybe Mendoza the QB and we'll likely see their talent increase but what I respect about Cignetti is that he's not a star-chaser.

He's also a special ops trained ninja assassin born killer that will probably be frustrated if he makes the playoffs and gets the G5 type thumping because of his teams talent ceiling

Indiana signed him to an 8 year deal. Good for them, and him. He clearly wants to be the builder of that program and school.

Wish DeBoer would've felt the same way about here, but it was clear in hindsight he never did.

did his buyout go up? Not seeing info on that anywhere yet. If it didn’t, I wouldn’t be spiking the football just yet as an IU fan.
