Back when Don James got paid $250,000 in the early 90s and coaches stayed at the same school for the most part, the kids had nothing to bitch about.

Would all be solved by a football G league if you sign your rights away at 18. You think you're a hotshot? K cool make the NFL draft them coming out of HS. Not sure? Great come get an education and an experience and maybe still play NFL 4 years later.
I could care less about watching the top few % of talent if it means the kids play for rival schools from one year to the next

The morons that make the decisions of course. NFL had it good, but the morons in charge could not figure out a way to funnel some money keep all the nonsense from happening. They had the best amateur league in the world that was FREE. Just bad business decisions on their part
