Why is Trump trying to convince people he was against the war in Iraq?

Doesn't he realize that position hurts him with anybody that might consider voting for him?

Meh...he was stronger the first part, esp on trade and I think on the police and inner city discussion. She scored points on the tax stuff. Wash on the rest...he left a lot on the table though.

Don't think it changes much...she needs to appeal to the under 30s and African Americans and I didn't see anything she did that did that. Obama won twice on huge turnouts in those groups and I just don't see it this time with her. He needed to not fall on his face and he managed to do that.

As for OZONE, the Iraq stuff if for the Bernie voters...between that, trade, and hitting her on rigging the DNC I didn't see anything she said or did that would bring them into the fold.

Bernie voters aren't all the same. Most I know liked him because he wants universal health care, and to get wall street corruption out of DC.

I doubt any that liked Bernie's anti-war stance in Iraq, will be in any way lured to Trump. So, I continue thinking that Trump's effort to sound like he was against the Iraq war just hurts him with people that might actually vote for him.

They are the under 30s that voted in masses for Obama and voted for Bernie. They could give a rats ass about universal health care. Notice in that setting he didn't pound Hillary on voting for Iraq...smart. He's trying not to lose too many of the Repub establishment while reminding the under 30s she's the establishment.
 
I was busy waiting tables at my night job. A "job" is this thing that you go to where you accomplish tasks as efficiently as you can in exchange for money, in case any of you Clinton supporters are confused.
