Kwat defense hasn't changed in a decade. If OC cant figure our how to score on that they got shittt players or shit play calls. Dawgs win rather easily.

A brat pack Judd Nelson vibe

Sark or Kwat shut down Ohio State after they boat raced Oregon last year
I would not bet the mortgage
My issue with that is they also limited Washington the same way in 2022 and in both cases you have an entire season's worth of tape on that offense.
Stopping them Game 1 with losing everything they did seems pretty different and is not super impressive, yet.

To me doing it twice is what is impressive. No one has figured out Smith except Texas twice
If UW can shut down Smith and stop the run no one will be happier than me
In the Alamo Bowl Grub had to go to the David Shaw offense in the 2nd half to matriculate down the field. That is still how you work that defense
McChord or whoever tOSU had at QB last year was a 5th year guy. Sayin is a rookie in playing time. Both struggled
I'm not sure UW has the horses on defense that Texas has but that's why they play the game

We didn't have enough to really stop a motivated Michigan team (they were against us, not so much the usual B1G chud squads), and we looked pretty good for just one game. our 30 million roster against buckchud's 90 million, we will see.
It doesn't show up in the maths but the disrespect is so unreal that there's no way UW doesn't come out fired up and OSU comes out expecting the red carpet treatment.
Neuheisel's also convinced me that their QB on the road will be the difference.

Texas completely shut Smith down in the playoffs. Week 1 this year Smith had 6/43 so not that effective. The issue is Carnell Tate, when you double Smith, Tate eats defenses alive. He is a #1 at any other P5 school in the country. Projected as a 1st round pick this year. Also we have a couple good TE not to mention RB's catching the ball out of the backfield. Doubling Smith has not worked for anyone yet. At the same time if you go man on him Smith will feast. I expect Washington to play a Zone coverage and drop 6 on known passing downs.

Watched Ohio State Texas live and rewatched and Texas had a lot more success than I remembered. Arch and Sark left a good amount of points on the table and Ohio State really only had two successful drives. Any stats about Sayin throwing downfield came against Grambling and Ohio because he had one long TD pass to Tate that was a late jump ball and then threw only two more completions over 9 yards.
WE don't have the same horses as Texas I assume, especially in the trenches, but can being more dynamic at QB and playing at home make a difference? It's a game where I wouldn't necessarily be against the Kwit D.

This is what I am most interested to see is how Sayin handles the Crowd noise and pressure of playing a good team in a big time environment. I have Heard Husky stadium fans get after it and it is an intimidating place to play. I do not think the Buckeyes are overlooking the Huskies at all. Frankly not sure how you guys are not ranked. This will be a big challenge for our Defense, and we very well could come out sluggish after a bye week.

Everybody hates you guys so maybe it won't be a big deal but MSU and Michigan fans thought it was going to be some Summer of Love atmosphere at Husky Stadium and for big games it's more like the Chaz.

I am aware many hate us. Must mean we are doing something right…. I am guilty of hating Bama & The Patriots when they were at the top.

We have a recent memory of the power of multiple receiver threats. Ohio State has been a machine at turning them out and it will make it tough
I'm enjoying JSN with the Seahawks

JSN is a Stud. If he stays healthy he will be a Hall of Famer.

I remember watching the Huskies mutilate a Chris Carter, Chris Spielman led Suckeye team in second grade with Brent Mustburger on the call. Shocker: it was raining!

I am pretty sure Smith's hands were the issue against Texas not the defense. It could of been her fear of the defense (in the rematch), though. Dude had AT LEAST three TERRIBLE drops and at one point blamed the gloves and another the officials.
