several former Dwags who had good NFL careers, the current Wa Gov, a child of one of the Kennedy siblings, a dead former Nirvana member, a living former Nirvana member and one of the former Nirvana drummers before Grohl.
the Nirvana guys are/were not in my contacts, but I knew/know them. I saw Novo on the street downtown a few years back and talked to him for a while. I knew his brother, Robert, better.

Oh, and I also lived in a college dorm for a year with the Lopes brothers way back in the day (before I transferred to Washington), about 3 doors down from one, and 5 doors down from the other. Today, Lance is the former legal council for the Seahawks and I think involved in the Seattle sports scene in some capacity such as helping to get the hockey team here. Steve is a former associate AD at USC, and is the guy that turned in Sark when he showed up drunk to practice after losing to Washington. Do I get more brownie points? Neither is in my contacts though.
Oh, and one of my former housemates (3 of us shared a place in Seattle while at the UW) is the current CEO of a health care HMO in California. But I haven't heard from him since Luigi went on his rampage.
The CEO and and I and another buddy used to smoke a lot of pot.
As far as I know, the Lopes brothers never smoked pot. In fact, until they heard my Bob Marley album, they thought "I Shot the Sheriff" was written by Eric Clapton. That's what happens when guys grow up in Winnemucca Nevada and had never heard of Reggae music before.
