Thanks Tonto for not appropriating my superior kultur.

Seattle made me hate cyclists @Swaye and I rarely took my road bike out and about.

White Wakanda has wide shoulders, plenty of bike lanes, and great Mt Bike trails. As such the cars and cyclists mostly live in harmony.

Bicycle riders are the worst kind of human. I particularly despise the ones who don’t ride off to the side and think they’re keeping pace with the traffic behind them … when they’re actually doing 9 mph in a 35.

The whole sham pisses me off. They are either a pedestrian or a motorist, not either/or depending on the situation. Either ride down the middle of the lane, keep up with traffic, and be a functional motorist or just get the fuck out of the road and follow the rules for pedestrians. No fucking riding down the white line, splitting the difference, passing stopped cars at intersections, using cross walks, etc.

I'm all for people using bikes. Designate some routes for them.

Don't ask me how but it is legal to ride bikes on the sidewalk on Oahu (but not in Waikiki). They have rules for maximum speed, etc. Oahu has a ton of bike lanes. I'll be damned if those fuckermothers don't ride on the sidewalk when there is a bike lane adjacent to the sidewalk. I've gotten into more than one discussion with those asshats. They are un fucking real. And, I am a biker when I am not swimming or running.

They can all diaff. Yesterday.

As a pedestrian cross Eastlake Ave with the cross walk I was hit by a bike who thought they could roll through their red light. Cause they decided they were a pedestrian after the light turned red.
 
Driving a vehicle slowly enough to form a line...locally it's a 5 car line but I don't know if thats statewide or not...is a traffic violation. It's treated like a courtesy issue and cops don't enforce it enough, but it's really a safety issue.

Why, if bikes are to be treated like other motorists, would the standard be different for them? The truth is that bikes can't safely travel over about 25mph in tight quarters. They should only be allowed on road sections with 25mph limits.

I figured there is no sense in even trying to humble him. He's a lost cause. Really I mostly feel sorry for his wife. So impugning her net worth seemed unfair. His allowance from her doesn't really count for much.

In fairness Hawaii can be visited year round. Palm Spring can not. It’s 108 there today. Poipu is only 87.
