I agree that these stories involving missing white women, who are usually blond and attractive, get more media attention than a missing black or Hispanic woman. Now compare the coverage given to the shootings of black men, to the shooting of white guys by the police. If racism is what explains the coverage of missing white women, what explains the coverage police shooting blacks vs police shooting whites?
