Let’s see, one school went to the natty two years ago and the other is well known for having a bottom ranked offense every year. That’s even with the beef on the OL that goes to the NFL.

Washington literally is ranked ahead of them in the all time program rankings, and played for the title two years ago.
The last time Iowa made an NY6 bowl Stanford beat them by 50.

You could have sold this but tripped over your buddy's dick. UW has been to the playoffs twice in the four team era, twice in seven seasons, with the last instance being less than 2 years ago. No chance *we could slip past the likes of Indiana, Iowa, or USC unto the field of 12 now though, not with them being serious about football now.

I think something is getting lost in translation. You can not compare the era prior to about 2024 and then after. That is why the history of Washington no longer carries weight going forward, neither does Michigan or Ohio St, it is only about money. As for Iowa above Washington it is because of their situational and support advantages that Washington has not shown to have. They also beat them badly in their latest match up.
 
Nothing galvanizes a group of distraught negative UW fans like being called Iowa's inferior
