Where Does Mariota Rank All Time For Pac 10-12 QB's?

Mariota has the highest TD:INT ratio in the history of college football. He's probably the only QB you could ever put on any team regardless of style and they'd probably get better, but never get worse.

Who else could do that?

That is true for a lot of great QB's. Andrew Luck could have played on any team.

Mariota is better than Tui. Take off the purple tinted glasses.

If Mariota wins a conference championship and a Rose Bowl and pops off, we can have that discussion.

So you're picking a team. And you have the choice between Tui, Luck, and Mariota. Who do you pick?

Hint: Tui is the last one picked in that scenario.

Mariota plays behind a pussy OL and has to carry an absolute dreckfest of a defense. He's 2nd all time in the conference in wins(I just made that up by Leinart was 37-2), and is #1 in "points responsible for". The guy's a fucking wizard, he can do it all. If you're doing a schoolyard pick from players throughout history he might be #1 because he can run. Imagine him at USC instead of Leinart, are you fucking kidding me? If you aren't looking for a dual threat QB, Palmer is the 1st off the board.

The Trent Dilfer/Doug Williams better than Dan Marino theory.

If we are talking the modern game, I would take Mariota over any QB in Pac history.

But if I am being honest with myself, I would take Jake in the Oregon offense and I would get fired at the 50.

In an alternate universe where i'm not a Husky, I would have loved to see that.

He's a very fucking good system QB.

You are having a rough day. He's going to be the first QB taken in the draft. Saying he's a system QB is an archaic comment. Was Cam Newton a system QB?

Based on pure talent I would have to go with Luck. He has a better arm, more accurate, was also mobile, and had better ball security. I'd love to see what Luck could have done with the same offensive talent around him. Mariota however, would easily be in my top 5 if not 3.

Every quarterback is a system player. You can't have a team without a system. That system nonsense is indeed nonsense.

Sounds like we all agree Mariota is a system QB.

I love the ESPN memory here going all the way back to Luck.

If you want a non champ Aikman is better
