Oregon is only here because Washington was invited. Washington was invited because their research revenue exceeds everyone except Michigan, and the B1G schools have a tradition of playing them in Rose Bowls going back a hundred years.
USC hasn't been shit and was taken, because they also check both boxes. UCLA checks both boxes although for sports it's just basketball.
Cougs are always doomsday about all this because they weren't invited to the party in the first place.
 
Well this thread reminded me to record the game (already had it set to record all UW football games) and found out my carrier Xfinity is the only major carrier that decided not to honor the Big10 expansion. So any Xfinity customers in the states of California, Oregon and Washington will not be able to watch their teams play live on the BigBig10 network. Damn, now I need to switch over to AT$T.
