My thoughts exactly when I saw that picture. At the same time, I can't blame them for not airlining it. With summer travel in full swing - full flights, overtasked ATC, short-staffed airlines, airports at max capacity, and thunderstorms etc. Doesn't take much to have flights delayed or cancelled.
Plus, I can't blame them for wanting to skip the airport terminal experience: once-a-year clueless Crocs-wearing schlub travelers.

If you want to bash once a year clueless schlub travelers that’s fine, but if you’re going to bash crocs, I’m fucking out.
