Disagree. NAFTA and the pussification of the American labor union killed the middle class. Look at Germany. The damn country is full of immigrants from Turkey, Algeria and Albania and the hourly wage is the highest in the world, and the unions sit on the boards of every fucking corporation. If there were 100 million more Krauts or Japs they would rule the fucking world.

Everyone has always invaded everyone, someone has to lose. Everyone has always immigrated to other places. People we used to call "white niggers" aka Italians, Poles, Irish, etc. are now part of the middle class and vote Republican - the essence of "I got mine, Jack - now fuck off."

If the unions can get a foothold in places like Wal-Mart and McDonalds and all you sad saps sitting in cublcles thinking that you are white-collar in the post-industrial economy, we might get a middle class back. Otherwise, it's neo-feudalism all the way homies.
