What's the best secondary Bama has faced this year?

Dick Hurts is far from a prolific passer. If our d line has the game of its life and he has to throw the ball, our chances may go up from 1% to 2%

If this game comes down to whether Hurts can throw the ball effectively against our secondary, then we're probably in good shape.

Getting enough points on offense and slowing down their running game (particularly on the edges) will be the big issues for us.

We have to play an A+ game in every category. Hurts has thrown interceptions and fumbled in multiple games this year and they still win by double digits. They key is third downs. We can't let them get us of the field so quickly. We have to convert third downs and even try to avoid them if we can. Short, quick throws are the only way we win. Gotta get the ball out fast against that pass rush. The running game is irrelevant. No one has ran on them all season and we won't change that. We have to use short quick throws as our running game.

Agree.

LSU secondary is a good comparison, though we're weaker on the edge for pass rushing.

Our offense is much more likely to move the ball on Bama than LSU's was though, because we're at least somewhat capable of throwing the ball. More than LSU can say.

LSU basically is a run only team and that's why they couldn't do anything on offense. I think LSU has a more athletic defense than us, but we play a lot smarter than people realize. Hurts is a freshman and he tries to make plays that he can't sometimes resulting in fumbles and interceptions. If we play a smart game on defense we can hold them under 20 points I think. Their speed and athleticism will be enough to score at least 14-17 on us, but if we can hold them under 20-24 overall then I think we have a shot.

Bama's defense is an offensive weapon. I see pick sixes and pain in Washington's future. But hey, we're in THE PLAYOFFS!

Bama hasn't faced an OL and TE's like ours. Dissly is going to be sealing the edge all day long for Gaskin and Coleman to get into the 2nd level.

Rossy boy is going to be running free. Bama ain't used to speed like he has.

Pettis will make a few clutch plays. All the Bubbas will want to kill him for pretty boy swaggin on the elephants.

Browning is going to be throwing darts and talking shit.

Defense forces three turnovers. Psalm with a strip sack in the first quarter to set the tone.

Dawgs win big!

The paw licking celebration is going to play really well with Bama fan.
