Live from Tacoma - I'd say 20% wearing masks, 80% not. Less sheeple here.
The saddest thing I saw today was masked young parents with their masked 5 year olds.
At least now I know who to be afraid of. People with irrational fear who would like me to be out into a camp.
I live across the street from a city park. Each Saturday I walk the dog by the park and up to the open space that overlooks the kids' play area. There is some parent/kid group that meets there every Saturday so that the kids can play together. Today was the first day the entire crowd wasn't in masks. But before today everyone, including little kids two and three years outdoors wearing masks. Usually when I'm up at the park throwing the ball to the dog I'll have a couple kids come up to me and ask if they can pet the dog and throw the ball for her. One of the kid's today announced that he had just turned 5, his dad was with him. I told him how great it was that he just turned 5 and the dad said to me, "yeah, we were pretty excited because now he could finally get vaccinated."
Lol yikes
