She was a fundraiser who wormed her way into being an athletic director. She should not be in a position of authority to make this next critical hire. Too much is at sitake.

If some massive boosters are offering to finance the 50% or 75% buyout, then I imagine they will have a large say in who to hire. They are also probably better connected than Cohen.

One of my main concerns is that Peterman is so entrenched at UW, especially with his involvement with the new NIL thing, being Jen's "advisor," etc., that he's going to recommend bringing in another one of his disciples. That can't happen.
