What is your all time favorite rock band or artist that 81% or more of this bored dislikes?

Man you are all a bunch of fags.

Kylie minogue = legit.

Pearl jam = garbage

Tool is solid

Ratt = okay

There aren't really many underrated rock bands. The only ones that are underrated are that way because they have like two good songs.

Ratt had one great album. I have their greatest hits and its too long. Not enough to fill it

Interesting Behind the Music on them.

I saw Ratt and the Scorpions in the Tacoma Dome in the mid 80s and they put on a pretty good show.

Nobody who's sane thinks they have the best first 3 albums of any band,[/b] though
Swaye gave the Metallica albums as an example. High Voltage, Dirty Deeds and Let There Be Rock are another example and they all bury anything Ratt ever did - and it isn't close.

Yes. In fact, while they were alright, I listed them as a joke. That joke didn't take, apparently.

Scorps were pretty fucking good. Lots of good shit there.

I couldn't pick one best AC/DC album with a gun to my head. Too fucking many great ones ... something from the Scott era, though they did some good shit after that too. Somewhat partial to TNT. Live Wire and It's a Long Way go a long way for me. If You Want Blood is right in there though. Fuck. Great band.

There seems to be no love for the song Jane by Jefferson starship

Because I'm currently drinking a beer and listening to it

Having a lot of trouble controlling the PC Spotify from my phone right now

I'm a bit pissed off

The Police lyrics thread got me thinking of a new idea for a shitty YellowSnow music snob thread /pole.

With that said, what is a band or artist that you think is outstanding and amongst the all time greats that most (i.e., < 81%) here think suck?

For me it's the Grateful Dead which are my all time favorite American rock group. But from what I can gather over the past 1.5 years of research we have no other Dead fans and most are either meh or hate them outright.

FREE @HARVEYROAD!

Harv was a Dead Head?

@HarveyRoad likes a good jam band.

The NeoHippie jam bands suck. The Dead could actually write good songs.

You missed HHBv1, which is too bad. Explaining to @HarveyRoad the Dead was merely an average NeoHippie jam bad was auce*.

Good times had by all.

Well fuck, why can't we FreeHarv so we can start the Dead higher level discussion bored.[/b]

What did he do to get banned?

Signing the petition to make this happen. My $20 Sven bucks are in the mail.

First question for the new bored - is it possible the cover band is even better than the original?

You mean the few remaining members touring around with John Mayer? Answer is no - 1972 is peak Grateful Dead.

No, I don't mean them.

Here's a little help.

Not bad. Those guys are respectable.

Ratt had three great albums.

Cut right through my youth.

Agree about the greatest hits ...

Those years will color anyone's perception of music. Its why Neil Young is at the top of my list

Another Harv favorite by the way

Well shit, me and Harv would have been musical blood brothers here. I only know of him from one HHB pod...might have been the last one.

Greatest INXS song ever. Springsteen's cover is solid too.

And Squeeze has some of the best lyrics ever. Completely overlooked band. Deserves more props.

People forget how much fun Night Ranger's first two albums were. First concert I evar went to was Tesla opening for Night Ranger at the Concord Pavilion

Saw Europe open for Def Leppard at the Shoreline in 1988. Lep was great, Europe was nothing special

One of the best concerts I ever went to was Social Distortion in a shitty dilapidated warehouse in Dallas in 1988 or some shit. Cool story, I know.
