The Ohio Buckeye (Aesculus glabra) is a medium-sized tree native to the Midwestern and Great Plains states, known for its distinctive shiny, brown, nut-like seeds and its status as the state tree of Ohio. It features palm-shaped leaves with usually seven leaflets, greenish-yellow flowers, and a rough, spiny fruit capsule that splits to reveal the seeds. While the wood was historically used for artificial limbs and other woodenware, the seeds are toxic to humans and livestock and should not be eaten.
Clearly, the Buckeye is not a viscous animal. Dawgs win rather easily 34-17.
