Nobody will disagree that the lack of experience is a red flag. It's better than hiring some dude just because he used to coach or play at Oregon.

The biggest knock I'd always bring up about Bellotti and Kelly's staffs at Oregon was that nobody ever got poached. You want it both ways. If they hire a lifer in Wilcocks, you laff it up, if they hire another stepping stone merc like Lanning, you laff it up.

Lambo, Gilby, Helf, all got shit canned. Where's this mythical PNW lifer who doesn't suck that Oregon should hire?
