Cheap, easy to get, he's gets a break from the fans. He's a minority. He won't win too much. Checks all the boxes you can expect. This is a no brainer that its going to happen.

Tui is a Husky Legend, but there's several other coaches I would gamble on over him, primarily because he's never been a head coach before. Don't think it would be wise for him to cut his teeth as a head coach @ UW, too big of a job.

He’s never been a good asst or recruiter either. It’s a stupid idea. Jen is more worried about doing it on the cheap if there were to be a change. There will be no change or Wilcox. That’s my prediction.
 
No way.
Jen is definitely in over her head and I could, unfortunately, see her hiring someone like Wilcox.
That being said, there's no way she's clueless enough to hire Tui for HC
 
There are three golden rules in hiring a coach:

1) Don't hire an alum
2) Don't hire a present assistant coach
3) Do a real search

The first two are "feel good" hires that almost universally backfire. The third means you actually work.

If that happens, I will give up my season tickets in the 300 level, and by the time UW fires him, the crowd will be able to fit in the Tacoma Dome and any season ticket holder will be an automatic Tyee member.
