What I’m Hearing...

The only good things in the Sta Wars universe since Empire are Slave Suit Leia, Rogue One, and The Mandalorian. Everything else has been shit. Well, I thought Solo was just above shit, but not great. It's devolved into a GI Joe movie in space now. Joke.

I pretty much don't like any Star Wars other than the original films when I'm in the right mood. Sci fi ain't my bag, baby. BUT Rogue One actually was pretty decent and if I liked it, it must have not totally sucked.
 
Certainly an Abrams movie. If you liked TFA, you'll like this one. If you liked TLJ more, then you probably won't. Tidy, but rushed and lazy at the same time

Maybe it's unfair that we put SW on a pedestal and under a microscope at the same time, but it's impossible to make one that truly captures the mythic magic of the originals. At least TLJ tried to be fresh. This one wasn't

I thought it was kind of a fun movie. No real issues with it. It's definitely not a steaming pile of shit like the new trilogy but nowhere as good as rogue one.

Just ditch this whole empire and Skywalker thing. Write a good story that happens to be in the star wars universe. Profit.
 
Harrison Ford I'm sure demanded to be killed off. And he demanded 20 million. Shit series, shit movies.

The icing on the cake was Leia flying through space. The worst scene in cinema history. I LOL'd in the theatre..didn't really go over well with a few people around me.

Read the spoilers bc idgaf at this point. Awful. Won't see it in theaters. Probably won't even watch it at all. Sad to see how far star wars has fallen.
