We took them to 7 with a high schooler running our pp. That guy wins the Calder this year and the Sharks are lucky to be in the playoffs. Aging bunch of perennial chokers and we are a young team with more talent this year.

Maybe over a longer time frame if we can keep the team together that long (say 12 years given how young our core is), we can win a few. I tend to be more cautious with my REAL teams. Back when we won like nine straight divisions with the dynasty of Sakic, Forsberg, Roy, etc we still only came away with two cups. Part of that is due to other great teams like Detroit and Dallas, but it’s always hard to win the cup. I do think we will win a couple with this group, and the best case scenario is we pull a Pittsburgh or Chicago and win 3 or more like you said.

But that salary cap is a real bitch and we can’t just keep everyone like back in the day. Our cap looks very favorable right now, though. So maybe.
