I wanted the Pac12 to survive with just OSU and WSU plus scraps from the AAC and mountain west.

The announcements earlier today about Cal and 'furd likely to ACC (with SMU) makes that (P12 survival) very unlikely.

So, what we all assumed was going to happen to WSU and OSU is going to happen.

Down grade to MWC.

Cuogs deserve it. Beavs don't. That's life.

I said this in another thread but cuog going FCS and playing eastern, Idaho, and Montana schools each year would really help them out; lower cost of travel and what could be good rivalries with more butts in seats.

I’m sure cuog/unlv kicking off at 8pm on a Saturday night in snowy Pullman will be a hot ticket though.

Apparently there is some financial reason to keep the PAC branding, but either way they'll be slumming it with MWC teams in 2024 or 2025. I could see OSU and Coug being independents for a year and living off the PAC asset money.
