Stanford is not a Bay Area sports brand. It's a private school with alums from all over the country that don't care enough. ND likes them though and that is probably what is causing this.

USC and UCLA apparently don’t have a vote in this.
I doubt it’s tOSU, Michigan or PSU. My guess would be a team in the BIG10 West like Iowa, Nebraska or Wisconsin.

Per Thamel the B1G doesn't even need a new media partner to get Washington and Oregon in if they take a initial reduced share. Just need one of their current partners to step up a bit (Fox already wants this to happen).

Wisconsin hates Oregon with the fire of 12 suns. And they should given fairly recent history.
Oh and, Stanford will not be in the Big10. No one cares about Football there.
Given the circumstances of the death of Northwestern Football, I don’t think that they care about Academis at this point.

zona BOR is meeting this morning to talk conference, if zona goes then I’m sure asu goes (they may have the same BOR, I do not recall). If those two go, and the Utah AD can swallow his pride and follow byu, then the p12 is dead and uw/uo go big 10 at a reduced share.
