Trump committed the sin of accomplishment without playing political games. He embarrassed the dems by improving race relations, peace agreements in the Middle East, and keeping the Russians at bay (not to mention a growing economy for all). He didn't bend the knee to the press or Hollywood, and he didn't think about his image when getting the US out of a bad treaty like Kyoto.
He told the truth about China - which has been a mainstay of his since the 80's. He told the truth about Germany eventually needing fuel from the Russians because of their feel-good green initiatives. He didn't take science lessons from Greta Thunberg or late night talk show hosts.
In other words- he led instead of trying to be popular.
