What defense are we going to run?

Im not worried about the defense at all, the offense is the question. If the OL can gel, I like our running game with Cam and Coleman as a 1…2 punch. Last season we had a one legged man and 3 NFL receivers

Cool, crisp October day with Michigan in town, hopefully both teams are undefeated and it's 7-3 in the 4th with a pivotal 3rd and 4 coming up, dannarc yells so loud the decibel meter pegs out at 140 and we? Stop them in the backfield for a 1yrd loss, I fall over and hit head on concrete....game over...
It will be my swan song to HH and everyone will say WDWHA and life goes on. Blah blah blah

I'm optimistic for a few reasons:
Uh…I guess that's it.

It's more than that too! Arizona's defense was better last year than UW's by every metic (though schedule could play a factor) and their coordinator was Johnny "Patron" "I know where the bodies are buried" "I know Marlon's brother" Nansen. It's also a defense that had zero guys drafted last year compared to UW, who had three and a lot of UDFAs.
Hopefully see some progression with the guys returning on defense and I wouldn't be shocked if Prysock plus the portal guys at safety and progression with others leads to a better secondary.

I hope they run the kind of defense that limits yardage and points, while maximizing turnovers. Personally, that's my favorite. I don't know why so many coaching staffs choose other kinds.

UW got UA's DC?

If you kick in $29 this August and then kick the bucket vs Michigan, we will have a postseason memorial award named after you on the pod.

No, he went to Texas with his old blackout drinking buddy Sark. I wouldn't want him. I think that Arizona had a good defense last year with him at DC is a testament to that Fisch knows how to get a good defense without a wizard DC.

The team is a reflection of the head coach. Not the offensive coordinator or the defensive coordinator.
I’m right until I’m not.

The same defense every other team runs most of the time, nickel.
I imagine UW will 1 gap on the DL, I don't think there's a true NT on that roster.
The transfer from Miami who transferred to Miami from Oregon at least has the body type to play NT.
Strong motherfucker. Has he taken a single snap at DL in his college career?

It sounds to me like they are going to run a 4-2-5. They may even rotate guys in at "Joker" depending on the down and distance (a bigger hybrid LB on running downs and Kam Fab on more likely passing downs).

as long as they can get away with 12 guys on the field, I am in support of any alignment that works
