What could go wrong renting apartments for homeless?

My guess is the county won’t be getting cleaning deposits back after a mentally ill addict has their way with the place for a year.

My guess is that the program will be popular with the homeless. So popular that if you house a hundred homeless, 150 additional homeless will miraculously migrate to Multnomah County. If you want more pigeons, put out more pigeon food.

That's the beauty part of liberal policies and programs. They never have to work or make the problem better. In fact they can make it worse and that's just evidence that the program needs to spend more money.

Yep, they are spending all of that money and the problem just continues to get worse. Now do a graph that shows the increase in crime, the decline in the quality of life and the amount of human shit on the public sidewalks.

We're paying big money to make the homeless problem worse, to make the city less liveable, and to increase the amount of crime we have to live with. And of course the left's response to this is: Spend more money.
