What are the Odds UW Wears Husky Colors on Saturday?

the kids love the uni's, just look at the recruiting rankings!!1!! Do you want to lose out on a 4 star wide receiver because we didnt wear black 3 times this year?

It's why USC, Alabama, Stanford, etc. can't recruit.

When you're good you recruit based on results.

When you're not you resort to gimmicks.

I don't disagree, but you realize Stanford wears black uniforms/helmets too, right?

I'd rather just wear purple and gold every week myself, but of all the problems with the program the unis are way down the list.

 
I got to thinking... Top recruits seem to like neon yellow and gold is close to yellow. Why not start mixing in neon yellow with the blue to help Sark with recruiting?
 
I know this is unpopular here, but who gives a fuck about uniforms? As KobeStopper has noted, Ohio State, Michigan, UCLA, Notre Dame, and Tennessee all have alternate jersey's. What makes UW any different? I don't like all of the combos, and don't like the all whites or all blacks, but the shiny chrome gold helmets look better than the regular gold ones.

I will say a modernized version of the 2000 jerseys would be awesome.

I have seen in other threads on this topic that some think the '91 uniforms are the best.The '91 jerseys are fine, but those pants are yellow and don't match the helmets at all. Kind of ugly if you ask me.

I think our current purple and golds look pretty good. My only complaint would be the piping down the side of the pants.

I think Sark should be more concerned with what uniforms 4-star linemen like to wear.
 
I fucking hate the concept, but as a capitalist, I think what Phil did was fucking brilliant.

But dad gummit, I sure miss the fuck out of tradition.
 
We have great traditional unis and all the alt shit that Nike makes us is terrible on purpose. If we had better alt unis then I'd be fine with them. How do I know I'm right? I haven't spent a dime on the alt shit but I did drop $85 on the 1960 jersey we wore against USC
