What about Mark Dantonio?

New Fish
He is a defensive/special teams guy. He plays the style all of the old Husky fans want and he's damn good at it.

If you've been to Lansing you know it's a shit hole. You know it's an even bigger shit hole after the Pontiac plant closed down.

I think he would come to Seattle for the same paycheck he makes for Sparty. It's a basketball school in a shitty location and you will ALWAYS be little brother to UM in that state.

The last guy who won at Duke was Steve Spurrior. Might want to look at Cuntcliff

I'd take either one of those guys in a heartbeat over Sark, but they are both on the wrong side of 55.

A Don James type that wins big and stays in the same place for 18 years doesn't really exist anymore. The NFL pays too much and you can always go back to college.

We may be better off grabbing Scott Frost from Oregon, I'm sure he knows how to run a program (cheat) better than Sark does

You won't find a guy who has been mentored by a better group; Walsh, Osborne, Bill Snyder, Parcells, Bee-lee-check, and Chip Kelly.

The Oregon brass felt Slingblade was a better option so take that FWIW.

Dantonio's age & Health are a bit of a concern, but are worth the risk in my opinion. He won't throw the ball around the field 48 times per game, which is fine. The defense will stop people.

Dantonio would be at the top of my list. Give him a raise and a large assistant budget and I think it could happen.

Dantonio would be amazing but he'd probably take $4 million a year and Michigan State could be able to match. The state of Michigan isn't in the best financial shape though.

It took him forever to win at Duke and at Ole Miss he had so-so results. I'll pass.

A round ball school in the middle of nowhere isn't paying $4 million for a football coach.

Michigan State brings in a lot more AD revenue than Washington does:

Of course they do. They have an elite revenue sport. UW is mediocre in both. Look son, either you need to have a crazy billionaire in your corner or a winner. You ain't got neither.
