It all hinges on @Joey Dangerously
But the plan is 9PM
A victory pod for our pods

I'm of the opinion this offense is more enjoyable to watch than 23s. Not necessarily better don't twist but it feels like there's more outlets for the ball to move.
Also is this just what average defenses look like in the year of our Lord 2025?

You could make the argument that Demond’s running ability makes it more exciting, but I don’t know how you could say there are more outlets for the ball on this team. Germie Bernard and Giles Jackson were the 4-5 receivers on that team. Devin Culp and Westy were better than our TE room now. The only position we’re better at now is RB.

Demond being mobile gives us something we definitely didn't have in 2022/23 but I don't see it as being more exciting, especially since we haven't played anyone yet. I'm worried about the lack of anything from our WRs after Boston and TEs.

It's hard to really get upset about a game where Coug was snapping the ball under 0:04 every single play, played for first downs with shallow crosses and shit that we just kept letting them have, and still gave up 59.
I'd rather play a QB that actually made some really nice plays to prepare for Ohio State as opposed to Plodder or Dugnut or whatever defunct QB can't even throw it 19 yards.

I said more enjoyable not exciting

That’s fair. 23 was stressful because it seemed like we were in 3rd and long multiple times every fucking series, but Penix always managed to pick it up.

22 and 23 when they were rolling were out of this world enjoyable offenses. 22 against Michigan State, Stanford, Oregon, Coug. 23 against Michigan State, Cal, and Texas. 2016 was the only other thing in my time that can compare.
It's a high bar to match but I think having a QB who is mobile could really test that.

Wish we could find a way to get out of going there in 2027. The final image of UW playing in Pullman being them protecting the midfield logo no one gives a fuck about would be perfect. Leaving the rinky dink trophy in the visitor locker room would be the ultimate statement too. Maybe leave Sideshow Bob Ferguson there too.
