@1to392831weretaken since you mentioned Triumph, I thought you might like my latest purchase. I got it one week ago today.
2019 Ducati Supersport S
It had only 2 miles on it when I rode off from the dealership.
Fuck. Yeah.
More CSB that you might like as a Ducatisti:
I'm at the Ridge last month, and I'm riding behind a red Panigale. I close like 30 yards on him into T1, and I'm right on his ass through T2-T4, then he just blasts away down the short straight into the Carousel. I catch him on the brakes, ride his ass through the turn and all the way through 9, then he just blasts up the hill, yarding me by like 20 yards up that short straight. I make all of it up braking into T11, having to veer a little right to avoid hitting him, and at this point I'm thinking, "Stop fucking around. You're faster than this guy, so just save it to the front straight and blow by him."
So I hang behind, drop down the Ridge complex, put it on my ear through 15, and I'm RIGHT on his back tire. This bike has a freaking license plate still on it, so I'm not too worried.
Then the fucker just disappears. I'm on the gas so hard that I'm sliding the rear on the transition from 15 to 16, yet this guy just pulls a fucking football field on my before I can even get into third gear. Holy shit! He probably had 150 yards be the time to brake into 1, and once again I closed right up in on him again. This kept up for three laps, then the session was over.
I tracked him down to shoot the shit with him after the session and tell him how fun it was and how much of a bitch he was to try getting around, and I notice the winglets on the nose of his bike: Panigale V4R. No wonder. I bike dynoed at 182 hp to the ground. Those things are said to put down 220. I toooooootally belive it!
Take that new bike to the track. It's safe, fun, and you won't regret it. You will not spend better money on two wheels, and you'll become a way better/safer rider.
