Still LIPO a bit but I thought there was a decent chance USC would be like last year but worse without Caleb Williams and out looks like that's not the case. Beating them this season could be as hard as it usually is to beat USC>
 
it’s week 1. LSU is more likely to go 7-5 than be in the playoff.

That usc win has big CU over tcu vibes from last year. People loved it at the time. Both teams turned out to be bad. I don’t think lsu and usc are both bad, but I do think they’re both mediocre.

I think USC will be better than last year but I am not ready to crown their ass. But what fun is CFB is we can't overreact to week 1?

Just as this is no basis upon which to think one or both are good, there is also no basis to conclude they're both mediocre. Sample size of 1, against each other. Anything can be the case at this point.
