One of the best moments was when I bemoaned how some offensive lineman will have a Maaco patch on their jersey as their sponsor. They will intentionally hold to have a flag thrown to draw attention and advertise. And as Joey said, the ref will call the infraction and the TV camera will zoom in and the TV announcer will say, "Carver Willis called for holding on that last play... Uh-oh, better call Maaco!"

It's an enjoyable team to watch. I'm now a half fan. Far better than the LOB era teams.
 
Well, since we weren't able to broadcast, the gist of it was:

-It's hard to get excited about Husky football when the coach and $4million+ QB don't seem to want to be here.
-Turns out Jedd will be "the coach of Washington in 2026"
-School is already saying pay up for next year's exciting season or lose your season tickets. Sweet. Can't wait to meet all the Indiana and Pedo State fans next year
-College football media is trying to sell Indiana winning it all is some "see, NIL and the portal will level the playing field" when the only other programs which could have won are the few that have had recent top level stability and great funding and Indiana just is going to be one of those teams next year

Curious what the consensus is/was about our QB… in the long line of Dawg QB’s would he even have been recruited much less start? Have we already seen the peak of his abilities? As opposed to being the good news, Is he actually the limiting factor of this offense?

As you know, i like to exagerate, I consider it to be an exalted form of performance art… but in this case I think he is grossly over rated and a doog’s delight, not the leader of men. JMO

I might not be quite as pessimistic about the QB as you. I'm not far off though. I've always said I'm willing to LIPO with 2026 and fully assessing him. Especially because I don't think there is anyone in college football going into 2026 who has PROVEN they are better who UW could get. The top portal guys I feel like are fairly comparable too.

Thinking more I think he is kind of a tweener in a lot of ways and being super short makes that an even bigger problem. I think he's a decently accurate passer when he's on for the level of athlete he is but I don't think he's this scary world class athlete Judd hypes him up as. He's not so deadly with his legs that I think defenses have to overly commit to it.

Then, you have some above average pieces around him and you have a solid tweener. He'll tear up crappy defenses but do nothing against any of the good ones.
