Did you guys listen to Caple's interview with the former recruiting coordinator under Petersen and Cristobol?
Seemed like he saying that yes, Oregon does take guys to boost their neckbeard rankings and that he thinks it's a good idea. 3D chess if you will.
Also got the impression from him that Petersen was a pretty fucking nails recruiter. The WAC shit: wired, academics, character seemed to narrow down their recruit list to the point that it burned him out. Interesting how Pete got all fired up to go toe to toe with Stanford as well. Also seems like it's Pete's fault the wr room got soft as he didn't want to take risks on guys.
Also telling when DeBoer was brought up, he pretty much pivoted to taking about how great the offense is now.
