The more that I think about this conference the more I like about the situation.

Football the conference has won ONE national championship since 2003. Now granted basically no one else has outside of Clemson since the SEC took shit over... but the point is a lot of the national media treats the BIG like it's juuuust below the SEC. It's not. Outside of one program it really isn't in the same stratosphere.

Basketball gets a similar amount of love nationally with the media... every year. All these teams in the Top 5... Top 10... etc. The conference hasn't won a national championship since 2000.

I know, no one in here cares about basketball... that is pointed out merely to indicate that the hype and PR around the conference major sports wise is almost of Sark like levels. Great place to land, considering what is really going on in the field of play.

The Pac 12 has been just as competitive as the B1G.

All would be 6th or worse, at best, in the 2022/2023 PAC12. Those programs are middling football schools, at best. The B1G is tOSU, Michigan, Penn State, and a bunch of dwarves. USC, UW, Oregon all slot in ahead of the schools listed above. This is not even a question.

Iowa might win the pac12 this year and we’ve won 3 straight at their place.

It will be slightly harder. But with the expanded playoff, you dont need to win the conference to make the playoff.
