Week 1 over reaction thread

Reading that Azzopardi and Willis were two of the highest rated tackles in CFB this past week.

It seemed like the Hatchett brothers are who struggled.
I hardly watched last season and didn’t know who a lot of the players were. If I saw Azzopardi for the first time on Saturday against CSU, I would think he’s a monster.

I think he’s going to end up a really good player. He had a couple of notable blocks.

As his #1 hater last year I have to agree he did look different. I am not trusting him yet though

Good: Jonah, Denzel, Demond, and the corners can both find ball and man when ball in air.
Bad: front four.
Also enjoyed seeing Demond take a shot to chest (too many overall on called passed) with 3 minutes left up 17 on designed throw around midfield.
Fisch also left 20 extra seconds on clock right before fumble by Demond by calling time out at 1:43 instead of 1:23. From your 25. Those extra seconds cost us 4 points as CSU probably has to kick a fg instead of getting the TD

By the way, no one asked for any of you fucks' Oregon takes. Put away the KY and Kleenex after an FCS game
I don’t think anyone’s hanging any banners(we do that in June typically). That said it is very obvious that Oregon is 2 level talented at just about all positions. Montana St is Montana St but there isn’t that big of a gulf between them and Colorado St, if at all.

UW will be better next year than in 2024. Maybe even good enough to win a road game.

Huh? You didn't finish telling us about how Lanning and Pate fell in love with all your insider info you definitely aren't pulling directly from your ass.

THANK YOU for attending my Ted Talk.
I agree Oregon looked talented. Then again, they've always looked big and fast.

Lanning likes to send the house against inferior teams and they generally do overwhelm these kind of opponents. He sent pretty much every player against all of their punts and he blitzed like crazy all game.

I won't be sold on Oregon until I see Dante Moore against a defense with a pulse who can fuck with his eyes and pressure him. He folded like a chair as soon as conference play started up the last go around.

I won't be sold on Oregon until you see them matched up with a team that they can't intimidate so quickly. They don't don't take getting punched in the mouth very well… never have.
Agree with all that except (1) nobody really takes getting punched in the mouth very well (otherwise it wouldn't really be a punch in the mouth) and (2) I didn't watch the game but from highlights I think he'll be an upgrade from Gabriel, whose draft into the NFL continues to dumbfound me. The thing with Moore that is said, which I think is sort of correct, is that he didn't have a great cast at UCLA. But shitty QBs can also fuck up with a strong cast, so it will be interesting either way.
And I'm never sold on results against Big Sky teams or whatever unless it's a loss, then it's a tell.

Good to see you back and alive Roadie. I hope you have changed your retarded perspective on Sean Taylor during your time away at the beach. @whlinder

Fuuuuuuuck Chatch. Hang the banner. What about the Pate State Poll you Chris Simpleton?

Not joking Pate State Poll has Texas #1 and Alabama like #12 and Florida State #20.
Until you leave I'm gonna make a fake ranking of Ducks here and you're currently below dtd.
