This is all bs. We wanted him. He pulled the rug out from under us. He is a good player. We will be okay but this is not a wdwha. Ahmed can play rb hopefully but I seemed to think he may end up more like a Charlie mcthatcher and less of an every down back. @Tequilla is right we can replace him with another quality player, just probably not a running back. Hopefully pleasant turns out to be something. McGrew could be good but I don't think he will be an every down back either.

Did you see Weddington play? Cause I did, and wasn't all that impressed. In fact, the other kid Trey Weed looked a lot more explosive than Weddington did.

Plus his name is fucking Conner. Black dudes with white names tend to be fucking pussies anyway. We need more dudes named Azeem not fucking Conner or Hunter or any other super white kid name.

Just on TV. Not in person. Seen weed in person and he looked good and was the best player on the field when they played camas. Sumners middle linebacker was pretty good too. Have no idea what his measurables are though or if we would offer.

If we take a commitment from a kid before the season, and then he has a better than expected season and decommits to another upper echelon team in the conference that is not good in any way.

Like tequila said though, they will replace him with a good player. Just probably not a running back.

He may redshirt and as I think Kamari Pleasant supplants Jamon as the #3 RB (McGrew is KR and Chico's understudy). Previewing my early pick for new contributor, but I'm really excited to Pleasant during Spring.

Agree with all this, but mcgrew will be a RB. I saw him at the last scrimmage of fall camp and I was 100% sure he was not going to redshirt because he looked really fucking good at RB.

He's gonna be a baller next year for us. I can't wait to see him against other teams, he's electric.
 
McGrew had some nice breakaways in practice but also had plenty of times where he was stopped and literally thrown backwards like a rag doll, almost comically.

That kind of shit can fire up an opposing defense. With Coleman, Chico, and Gaskin, there was no reason to throw McGrew out there as a freshman, especially at his size.
