Nothing says a commitment to public education like a blue state, the teacher unions and a failing blue city newspaper. Oregon dems got rid of the competency test for high school graduates. So now the "students" get a hug, orange slices, a Capri Sun and a high school diploma. Test scores for reading and math are in the shitter but let us just ignore that and celebrate the diploma.
