Decline is a choice. Waste money on green bullshit or make money on US oil and gas and build some nukes. Less pollution, less CO2, more jobs and more tax money in versus tax credits out. From Berkshire Hathaway's 2024 10-K, Buffett and company hauled in $2.6 billion in US tax credits almost all from wind and solar.

My dad used to take a glass of scotch with him when he did errands on the weekend. He didn't do it often, but enough that I clearly remember it. It's possible it was a passive aggressive fuck off to my mom, but he was born in 1936 and didn't seem to care about the hens who went crazy over alcohol in the 80s, started MADD, and raised the drinking age from 18 or 19 to 21 everywhere. He didn't GAF and wasn't worried about some cop pulling him over, I suppose.
I remember an ex nagging me about alcohol. I went a week without it, but cracked open something at 12:01 a.m. Monday or whenever. She wasn't amused.
When I used to have to drive around happy valley or Portland I would buy 20mg thc ginger ale and crack it open and be through like a third of it by the time I got to where I was going. Looking back, that was retarded.
But with traffic and so many shitty drivers and overwhelmed cops..

Leftards love to say that Musk get billions from the US government. Yeah, SpaceX is really taking NASA for a ride with the cheapest price for payloads by far of any other competitor. And yeah, Tesla gets a benefit from EV federal tax credits that are available to any qualifying EV vehicle, just that Tesla is making the best EV thus ripping of the taxpayers for a benefit that is fully supported by dems. Just don't piss of the dazzler for questioning the hypocrisy.
