Blue government same employment and pension scam. Retirement based on average last three year earnings and the ability to stack overtime in last years plus unlimited accrual of sick pay and vacation pay.
These people like @priapism think they are ready for a civil war.

Two thoughts. It was blue state and city governments cutting police and fire department employment while funding in Portland's case hundreds of millions for climate change. Second, the big issue here is massive overtime for retiring employees to artificially boost monthly retirement pensions. Massive accrued sick time is a separate issue having nothing to do with cutting officers. Ask me how I know…
OT doesn't count toward pensions anywhere i know of. Only salary counts.
It does in Oregon. OT is wages.
