One of the dems running for US Congress, Janelle Bynum, has lots of money and her main ad which runs all the time starts with her promising to fight MAGA extremists and then recites her three main policy point -
Abortion [of course]
Takes credit for the democrats reducing "costs" [What costs aren't mentioned and no actual policies are highlighted]
Protecting democracy [Once again, no actual policies are highlighted or MAGA extremist voting policies are mentioned]
Dems are extremely vulnerable on open borders, homelessness and crime. We will see if we get a Republican candidate to hammer these issues.

  • Millions of people think like Butker does, and many also give commencement speeches, but we don't hear about it since they aren't NFL kickers. I hate this world. Why do we care about Harrison Butker?
  • Don't understand Maher's conflation of Butker commencement speeches, "traditional" American families, "pro-Hamas" protestors, and Hamas family values. This seems a bit of a stretch. It's ehhhh. Probably not the hypocrisy he's saying here.
  • "Pro Hamas" is an often misused label when "Anti civilian death" could be used in the same spot for many/most protestors. Fuck Hamas and fuck the death of innocent civilians. Big Ern can hold both these thoughts at the same time, as do many.

Butker is absolutely correct. Mothers need to raise their children. We American mothers of the past not these mentally unstable loons we see transitioning their children. We need more God less bullshit and less me, me, me.
 
Most rich people are chauvinists in that they have relatively successful families and the wives don't have an outside the home job. Having worked Big Accounting I can't tell you how many smart successful women dropped out of the workforce when they had their kids. I can't tell you how many that choose their career over their marriage ended up divorced and were generally miserable with their existence. Divorce rate for women who were senior managers, directors and partners was astronomical.
PS If you have a "Stop the Genocide" or a "From the River to the Sea" sign then you are pro Hamas and not anti-innocent civilian death. Or you are a useful idiot. Or both.

No, that was Presidentish Joe Biden speaking in Detroit on Sunday about things that never happened because Donald Trump was president in 2020 when the pandemic was launched out of China. Barack Obama hadn't been in the White House for almost four years, and Biden was the former veep running for his party's presidential nomination.
Nobody sent Biden to Detroit to help with the pandemic, not that there's anything he could have done. In fact, Biden was "busy," such as it was, running a basement campaign and releasing staged videos that somehow weren't that much worse than the one I just transcribed for you.
That's from the same speech where Biden complained that Trump called the "insurrectionists" patriots.
Except that Biden said "erectionists."
It's just a childhood stutter, folks, he swears — and so does the Mainstream Media.
There's also the matter of Biden's delivery, equal parts shouting and mush-mouthed, but I've covered that ground so many times these last four years that it's hardly worth mentioning. Except, that is, to take notice that it keeps getting worse.
