There was basically an entire industry that was assisting wealthy Oregon entrepreneurs to move to Washington prior to either selling their business or taking it public. Now Washington is looking for broke ass illegal aliens to take their place. Only a mythical MBA would think this was a good business practice.
I assume that was just to avoid state income tax correct?
To avoid the Oregon tax on capital gains, now at 9.9%. Tough to avoid the Oregon tax on ordinary business income if the business is in Oregon.
