Recall Revolver News originally broke the Ray Eps story. The disinformation campaign is designed to flood the realm with false stories and then use the false stories as a cudgel to discredit the entire story.

If Mello did downvote it, its because he should! CJ Stroud, thinks we should forgive his dad for "pleading guilty to counts of carjacking, kidnapping and robbery in a drug-associated event in 2015. The incident resulted in Stroud's father diving into San Diego Bay to elude law enforcement"

I find it interesting that most people that come from a communist country to the US, are huge fans of America. Except China. I saw this first hand in the community I lived in south of San Francisco. They tired to have a celebration of communist China at city hall. Amazing.

Three years ago, the Oregon teacher and government unions got a half a percent gross receipts tax passed (essentially a sales tax) to raise a few billion dollars to fully fund government services to solve homelessness and public education. Then we had a year plus of paying teachers not to teach and now according to the teacher union in Portland, the schools are once again underfunded. Same thing happened in Washington when the state Supreme Court ruled that billions in new tax revenue was required under the state constitution to fully fund public education. This year, teacher unions were whining about more money for the kids. So, in Oregon, the now fully funded schools have crashed test scores and want to be rewarded with money that the PPS district doesn't have. So, strike.

Anyone know after this gets settled to the teacher's get back pay for their strike days. I suspect they do, just like when we "shut down" the federal government, the employees get back pay after it settles.
