Leftards and crony capitalists lie and love to be lied to. I'm not aware of any federal subsidies for oil and gas that any manufacturer doesn't get let alone the huge R&D credits that the US chip industry gets. The current federal production tax credit for wind, geothermal and biomass is $28 a megawatt hour. Anyway, the chart shows the truth about "cheap" green energy.

I first assume that leftist reporters on anything doing with energy, money, taxes, and overall economics are as dumb as mello. The second assumption is that they have no interest in actually knowing anything about what they write about and are proudly ignorant and the third assumption is if they know something that doesn't support the narrative they lie about it. So, the dementia patient on day one kills a huge major oil pipeline, cancels new federal leases and announced the expected end of US oil and gas production and follows up with further oil and gas restrictions. So, INSPITE of that existing leases have been maximized to ALMOST get back to Trump level of production while this stupid bitches' president sucks the SPR dry and begs the Saudis and Russians for increased oil and gas production. Conclusion, the dems aren't limiting future production and when they say they are, they are lying.
