There’s way more than that. In 2000 it was reported that 44% of households owned at least one firearm. It’s hard to think that number has decreased.

I’m not an enthusiast myself, nor are most of my friends and neighbors. But in my circle it’s at least 70%.

I've heard tell of a fairly prominent guy near me with several hundred thousand rounds. One guy. And nobody has a clue about his arsenal. Citation needed, fo sho'.

The Chinese spies don't have that kind of intel.
