Calling people a crum bum is a lost insult that needs to come back.
In 2008 I was sitting in Herb Mead's office and he was reading the latest rendition of his memoir that I had crafted. He got to the part where I referred to a shady business partner as a crum bum. Herb leaned back in his chair and howled. "Johnson! I haven't heard the words crum bum since LBJ was in office!!"
